A week ago I reset Windows on my PC and after installing Discord again I have been seeing some issues. When having a game open and opening a couple of tabs of Google Chrome my friends say that my voice keeps cutting out as if I was having internet problems. However, I am not lagging from my perspective if that makes sense, I am not experiencing slow loading times or such. I used Geforce Experience to clip the last 30 after my friends said I was lagging with the same microphone selected in both Discord and the clipping software and in the video my voice is clear as day. My friends also clipped the voice call and in their clip, you hear me cutting out every second so that only every third word or so comes through.
I never had issues with this prior to resetting Windows so the new installation of Discord might have changed or defaulted some settings. Due to both Geforce Experience and Steelseries GG perfectly capturing my voice without any stuttering or glitching using the same mic as through Discord, it makes me suspect Discord and not my own hardware. I don't experience lag, examining the task manager my CPU usage doesn't even need to reach close to 100% for my voice to cut out from the voice call.
